Craig Ballantyne, creator of Turbulence Training
Just yesterday I began my first four weeks of the Turbulence Training workout. You may not be familiar with the program. It was created by Craig Ballantyne, CSCS, MS, a strength and conditioning coach in Toronto. He is also a regular contributor to Men’s Health magazine and a graduate of McMaster University in Hamilton, Ontario, Canada with a Master’s of Science Degree in Exercise Physiology.
Turbulence Training evolved from Craig’s years in university.
Although Ive belonged to a variety of gyms, I tend to rely on home workouts as a way to save time and money. I love the benefits:
- I dont have to worry about the extra money needed to join a gym.

WEDNESDAY, March 30 (HealthDay News) — A combination of diet and exercise can help obese seniors lose weight and stay fit much better than either diet or exercise alone, researchers reported Wednesday.
The finding may sound obvious, but the lead author of the new study said it had not been proven previously in people over 65.
In fact, some physicians worry about recommending dietary changes and exercise for older people for fear that weight loss may cause them to lose muscle and bone mass and increase their frailty, said geriatrics specialist Dr. Dennis T.
Do you want to work out, but don’t have a lot of space for weights or machines? Resistance band workout may be your solution. They allow you to exercise your muscles in the comfort of your own home.
Resistance bands were originally used in physical therapy settings and for the elderly, but have since been adopted into the mainstream fitness community.
Resistance bands are made from rubber tubing that is attached with handles. As you pull the handles, the tension on the rubber tube increases. T
