Committed members of the clean plate club have lots of traits in common, many beginning before the food is served.

  • Eating everything that is put on the plate.
  • Keeping food in the fridge past its sell-by date.
  • Eating food about to go off instead of throwing it away.
  • Keeping leftovers from every meal.
